This is the updated design of the Tubecam consisting of a 127mm diameter x 100mm acrylic tube fixed onto two 150mm diameter discs with special acrylic glue, with polyurethane resin gunned in for good measure. I have attached carabiners to the bottom flange and hooked sets of penny washers to stabilise the unit, which works fairly well and does allow for some adjustment although it is quite fiddly.
