Corncockles
Not part of the meadow, but gorgeous so they are here anyway! I saved the seed from the previous year's cornflower annuals project and sow3ed it early, overwintering the plants before planting them out in the front garden with a general cornfield annual mix plus a few oddities. I also made a bed of them for us to use as cut flowers. They are not scented (which is a bonus as far as I am concerned) and last for only a few days, so they aren't great, but they are prolific and very pretty!
