Cambridge City Council Bryon's Pool Fishing Pegs
In 2009 Cambridge City Council undertook a large scale restoration of the facilities at Byron's Pool, a popular recreation area south of the city on the River Cam, using material supplied by local company Filcris for steps and path edging. Key to this redesign was provision of fishing pegs along the river bank. The 15 platforms along the river have proved to be a big hit with anglers and families alike.
