The following spring we were able to plant out some of the stronger Green Winged orchids in the wet meadow...and watch helplessly as they just died. The same fate befell all the rest of my brave little troupe of orchidaceous pioneers. So, while I haven't given up, I will put this on hold until the meadow is more established and I can give them more attention.
