Thanet Borough Council use Dura Tread anti slip grates for their marina at Ramsgate, like many marinas, since it is so strong and the slip resistance is unbeatable. But it is extremely expensive and relatively brittle so it needs to be protected from collisions with boats (which are equally pricey). Filcris have supplied nearly 1.5km of tough edging boards which are soft enough to withstand impacts from mooring boats and will not degrade in sunlight or water. And it looks great too!
